about

I really enjoyed it, never had the urge to skip to the next track, and was easily engaged throughout, and I generally don't listen to solo acoustic/vocal type recordings. The recording is strong and everything sounds good. I'm not much of an arbiter of taste, but I think if people hear it they will like it and since the material is already pretty well known and it's easy to connect to it. The arrangements work really good and definitely put the songs in another light. It really has that dark folk feel of some of that underground late 60s early 70s stuff which I like. At the same time, I was almost laughing in places because of how well it works when you might think that it wouldn't or shouldn't. – Andy Samford, Atlanta, GA
